Baked Acorn Squash Supreme

2 acorn squash melted butter
1/2 cup of heavy cream
1/2 cup of maple syrup

Cut the acorn squash into halves, remove the seeds and put the squash, cut side up, in a greased baking dish. Prick with a fork. Brush the inside of each half with melted butter. Mix the cream and maple syrup and fill each squash cavity about half full of the mixture. Bake uncovered, in a preheated oven at 350ºF. for 1 hour. Makes 4 servings
