Asparagus with Sesame Seed
1/2 cup of water 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1 1/2 pounds of fresh asparagus, cut into 1 1/2-inch lengths 2 tablespoons of butter, or margarine 1 tablespoon of sesame seed, toasted 2 teaspoons of lemon juice
In a saucepan, bring water and salt to boiling; add asparagus. Cook, covered, about 8 minutes, or until tender.Drain well. Stir in butter, sesame seed, and lemon juice. Serves 6. |
