| Oyster Stew
2 dozen oysters 3 cups of milk 1 cup of cream 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1/2 teaspoon f white pepper 2 tablespoons of butter
Heat milk and cream in a double broiler. Heat oysters in thin liquid until the edges curl. Add oysters to milk and cream. Season with salt and pepper. Leave in double boiler a few minutes to blend. Add butter and serve steaming hot.. |
