Baked Acorn Squash

1 acorn squash
2 tablespoons of honey
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/8 teaspoon of pepper
1/8 teaspoon of nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon of ground cloves
1 1/2 tablespoons of butter or margarine 

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Cut the squash in half lengthwise and remove seeds and fibers. Place in a small shallow baking dish and cover the bottom with 1/2 inch of water. Spread the honey over the inside of the squash, sprinkle with the seasonings, and dot with the butter or margarine. Cover (foil may be used), and bake at 350ºF. for about 1 hour or until squash is tender. Uncover and bake for about 10 minutes to brown lightly. Serves 2
