Spiced Game Hens

Two 20 ounces of Rock Cornish game hens
1 teaspoon of Chinese five spice powder
2 teaspoons Oriental dark-roasted sesame oil
2 teaspoons of light soy sauce
6 - 8 drops of hot pepper sauce

Split hens in half lengthwise, rinse them and discard giblets. In a small bowl, combine five spice powder, sesame oil, soy sauce, and pepper sauce. Brush all surfaces of hens with seasoning mixture, set aside 15 minutes. Preheat broiler. Line a broiler pan with foil, or use a disposable foil broiler pan. Arrange hens on pan skin side up. Broil 3 inches from heat 15 minutes, turning every 5 minutes, until cooked through but moist.
