| | Grilled Carne Asada
4 steaks 2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice 1/4 cup of Colby cheese, shredded 1/4 cup of Monterey Jack cheese, shredded 1/2 cup of low-carb salsa
Place steaks in utility dish; pierce with fork. Sprinkle both sides of steaks with lime juice, rubbing into surface. Cover and refrigerate while preparing coals. Place steaks on grill over medium coals. Grill steaks 7 to 9 minutes for rare to medium, turning once. Trim excess fat from steaks; carve steaks into slices. Toss meat with cheese. Serve with salsa. Serves 4. |
