| | Beef Stroganoff
2 pounds of beef tenderloin, cut into thin strips 2 tablespoons of butter 2 tablespoons of olive oil 2 cups of beef bouillon 1/4 cup of sour cream 1/2 teaspoon of paprika 1/4 teaspoon of oregano 1/2 teaspoon of Kitchen Bouquet salt and pepper to taste
In large skillet, melt butter with oil and brown the beef (about 5 minutes). Slowly add bouillon to beef, stirring well. Bring to a boil. Combine sour cream, paprika, oregano, Kitchen Bouquet and salt; add to beef mixture. Slowly stir sour cream into beef mixture. Turn heat to low, and bring to a bare simmer. Cook 15 - 20 minutes, stirring frequently and never allowing mixture to boil. Serves 4. |
