| Mulled Cider 1 quart of apple cider 1/3 cup of firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon of whole allspice Two 3 inch sticks of cinnamon 6 whole cloves Garnish: Cinnamon sticks Combine the first 5 ingredients in a Dutch oven and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove and discard the spices. Serve hot. Garnish each servings, if desired. Makes 4 cups |
